The 106th anniversary of the outbreak of the Wielkopolska Uprising

On 26 December 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at the Summer Railway Station in Poznan, you can experience extraordinary moments during the staging of Ignacy Jan Paderewski’s arrival. This event has been organized for more than 30 years on the initiative of the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Teachers’ Choir of Poznan. The entire happening is co-sponsored by the local government of the Wielkopolska region, the Wielkopolska Museum of Independence, Wielkopolska Railways and TORPOL S.A.

The atmosphere at Poznań’s Summer Station will send the participants of the event back to the eve of the outbreak of the Wielkopolska Uprising. This year’s show, as usual enriched by the singing of patriotic songs, will further emphasize the spirit of freedom and invincibility. The character of Master Paderewski will once again be played by the excellent actor of Teatr Nowy, Andrzej Lajborek.
