Torpol Running Team at EKIDEN relay race

For the seventh time on Malta Lake, the EKIDEN PragmatIQ marathon relay race was held, during which 6-person groups of friends, neighbors and co-workers ran together a distance of 42.195 km. The purpose of this year’s edition was to support the Niesiemy Nadzieję Foundation. As part of the run, a charity lottery was also organized for the benefit of Stowarzyszenie Na Tak. This was the second start for Torpol Running Team in the EIKIDEN relay. This time we put up two teams – a mixed and a women’s team. The weather conditions of this year’s edition were very difficult. Despite the high temperature, which took its toll on the participants, our teams finished the relay with satisfying places. The women’s team came in 8th in 16 teams competing in their classification. In the open classification, teams took the 180^th and 220^th place respectively, out of 266 classified teams, and among company teams the 118^th and 148^th out of 184 teams.
